Ormã is an anagram based on two words which have a unique symbology in Portuguese: amor (love) and romã (pomegranate). The pomegranate, which is also the Queen of fruit, is a symbol of wisdom, rebirth and fertility. Both these words express the fact that nothing contributes to our happiness more than the feeling of love.
A JOURNEY TO ENLIGHTENMENT
Our mission is to support you on your path of awakening and empower you to fulfil your highest potential. We all carry a certain level of (im)perfection, and it is important that we recognise and honour it. Our Journeys offer different ways of clearing the blocks that separate us from our true physical and emotional well-being, shedding the light on what makes us completely unique.
With ORMÃ, you will embark on a journey of self-discovery which will lead you to a more harmonious life. Our holistic approach will help you reconnect with the natural cycles of life and actively listen to your body and soul.
LOVE – THE MOST PRECIOUS INGREDIENT
Our soul chooses the experiences it wants to be exposed to and the family it wants to be reborn in, long before we arrive on Earth. It then guides us towards opening up to life, exploring and learning about the many aspects of being alive and bringing us closer and closer to our own essence: love.
I was raised with the awareness to take care of myself, my body and mind. I always wanted to give my life meaning through nurturing. The human nature requires of each one of us, altruism, sharing and looking out for those around us.
After completing my degree in Nutritional Sciences, I started a journey of self-discovery, travelling around the world to find my truth.
I went to the other side of the planet and lost myself in the pristine nature of New Zealand. While volunteering in São Tomé and Príncipe, I was also lucky enough to work with local healers, who taught me how to bring forth the true essence of health through a complete connection with nature. It’s on this island that I understood that what we lack the most in the world was authentic connection and love. I went on travelling to India, where I learned the art of Ayurvedic massage, including Panchakarma healing, as well as Ayurvedic nutrition. Living in frugal conditions gave me the opportunity to connect with my inner self and to become well versed in the art of forgiveness, releasing my thoughts and emotions of the past and transmuting them in the form of love.
One of my last stops was the volcanoes in Hawaii. There, I experienced the law of chaos, standing on top of a mountain of hardened lava still warm under my feet. The destructive and creative force of nature proves that everything is exactly as it should be, and that all is well.
I currently share my time between Lisbon and London, while finishing a course in naturopathic nutrition at the College of Naturopathic Medicine . This holistic approach to health is based on guiding and actively listening to the clients and is completed by a solid training as health coach from the trusted Institute of Integrative Nutrition.
I believe that we are spiritual beings having a human experience. My mission in holistic health is to blend my solid background in science with the spiritual aspect of our being, breaking patterns and raising awareness. Whenever a human being reaches higher levels of consciousness, they also elevate the collective consciousness, marking a step forward in its evolution. Because we are ALL one.
I cannot be grateful enough for all the opportunities life has given me to connect with my essence and be “mySelf”.
